A quick worked example
September bill 10,000: receive 4,000 on September 5, leaving 6,000; receive 3,000 on October 5, leaving 3,000. September cash receipts are 4,000 and October receipts 3,000; the bill remains September’s.

How is this calculated? Limits and assumptions
- Select one original bill, then apply receipts in date order. Each applied amount is the smaller of the receipt and the bill’s remaining balance at that step.
- Outstanding balance = original bill amount − total applied. Excess receipts stay unallocated for review, not automatically credited to next month.
- The bill month identifies the rent period; cash receipts and monthly statements follow each actual receipt date. Do not create a duplicate receivable for the second installment.
NT$ results are displayed as whole dollars; calculations retain cents. Rates and meter usage keep necessary decimals.
Estimates only. The parties’ agreement and applicable law prevail.
How this compares with HouseHu
Product receipt details retain each amount and date. Confirming a partial receipt does not settle the whole bill. This synthetic example does not confirm real transfers, change a bill or send notifications; follow the collection guides for actual operations.

Frequently asked questions
Does an uploaded transfer proof mean payment was received?
No. An authorized person must check and confirm actual receipt. The two sample entries here are not evidence of a bank transfer.
Should the bill month change when the second receipt arrives later?
No. Keep the original receivable period and the real date of each receipt. The landlord statement groups receipts by those dates.
