Connect tenants, rooms, lease terms and billing records
Create a lease for an existing tenant and room, check its dates and rent terms, then connect billing, contracts and move-out when those features are enabled.

- RenewArrange the next term as the lease approaches expiry
- Change future rentUse the effective date for eligible periods
- TerminateSettle the lease when the tenancy ends
Prepare the records and terms first
Create the property, room and tenant records before entering an agreed lease. Check the lease status so later payments and documents refer to the correct person and room.
Use the appropriate change workflow
Use the relevant billing-cycle, rent-adjustment, extension or renewal workflow when needed. Actions involving bills and contracts require the corresponding enabled features and permissions.
Separate basic management from automation
Current Free plans include basic rental management. Automated billing and contract management are Personal-or-higher features and require the relevant lease-cycle and other settings. Creating bills automatically does not debit a bank account.
Rental reconciliation checklists and examples
- Monthly rent reconciliation checklist: separate rent due, received and unpaid
- Owner statement checklist: review the statement difference and the proposed transfer separately
- Electricity reconciliation checklist: source bills, room readings and an allocation example
- Rental-team Excel migration checklist: review properties, rooms and leases before import
