How is this calculated? Limits and assumptions
- The ledger lists 12 consecutive months, all pending. Due days beyond the end of a month use its last day:31 becomes 28 or 29 in February and returns to 31 in March.
- The receipt uses only the manually entered amount actually received; it does not imply the 12 scheduled rents have been paid. Up to 2 decimal places are accepted, whole dollars omit.00 and the written amount matches the figures.
- Inputs remain in browser memory. Copying, printing and downloading require your action. CSV includes a UTF-8 BOM and spreadsheet-formula protection for Excel.
- An unsigned draft is not proof of payment. A signed acknowledgment may attract 4‰ stamp tax even after bank transfer; confirm exemptions and procedures with the local tax authority.
NT$ results are displayed as whole dollars; calculations retain cents. Rates and meter usage keep necessary decimals.

Is the download an Excel file?
It is a UTF-8 BOM CSV that Excel can open. It contains plain tabular text, no macros or Excel-specific formatting.
Will the 12 months be marked paid?
No. Every entry starts pending. The receipt amount is separate so future rent cannot be mistaken for money received.
Is a receipt exempt from stamp tax if rent arrived by bank transfer?
Bank transfer alone does not make a separately issued signed receipt exempt. The 4‰ rule may still apply; verify specific exemptions with your local tax authority.
Should I enter a national ID number?
No. Use property and tenant nicknames. This tool does not verify identity, upload or store your input.
